Measure Yourself Properly Before Buying a Plus-Size Dirndl

This is where most plus size buyers get tripped up. German dirndl sizes run on a European even-number scale. A quick conversion: your US dress size plus 32 gives your approximate German size. A US 14 is roughly a German 46. A US 18 is a German 50. A US 22 is a German 54. 

When your bust and waist fall into different sizes, always size for your bust first. The waist of a dirndl bodice has an adjustable closure.
